"But even if our Gospel is veiled,
it
is VEILED to those who are perishing,
whose
minds the god of this age has blinded,
who
do not believe,
lest the light of the
Gospel of the glory of Christ,
who is
the image of God, should shine on them."

Corinthians 4:3-4
Veiled...
When there is a veil over
the eyes and heart, the person CANNOT see. There is nothing you can
do or say that will reach them, because they cannot. That veil is
there because they have bought into the lies of the world. Satan is
"the god of this world" and anyone who does not believe the
Gospel Satan will gladly blind. When a person has no interest in
spiritual things, their minds are blinded and there is no use trying
to reach them.
But there IS
something you can do. Prayer triumphs over all evil. Prayer is the
tool God has given us and prayer changes things. Prayer can move
mountains of unbelief.
It's very important to ask the Lord for
guidance in what you pray for people. He alone knows the ins and outs
of their lives. He alone knows why their minds are blinded, and he
alone knows HOW to reach them. One needs to be praying the right
prayers and that's why it's crucial to get the Lord's guidance as you
intercede for someone. Oftentimes the Lord will give you a specific
word from the Scriptures for you to stand on and keep praying on -
for as long as it takes.
From time to time add a 24-hour fast
with nothing but water.
"However, this kind does not go
out except by prayer and fasting.”
Matthew
17:21
Above all ...never give up.
"Then he spoke a
parable to them, that men always ought to pray
AND
NOT LOSE HEART..."
Luke 18:1
