“For the grace of God that brings salvation
has
appeared to all men, teaching us that,
denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts,
we
should live soberly, righteously,
and
Godly in the present age,
looking for
the blessed hope and glorious appearing
of
our great God and Savior Jesus Christ…”
Titus
2:11-13
"LOOKING FOR …"
For some,
the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ is a greatly anticipated
event. For others, it is a most dreaded event. And for the
multitudes, the coming of the Lord isn't something they're interested
in one way or another. They either don't know, or they don't care;
their eyes are only on their own interests. For those who dread it
and for those who simply don't care, the motto is “eat, drink, and
be merry...” Have your best life now.
"LOOKING FOR
…"
The anticipation of the Rapture motivates a believers to live a Godly life and reach as many souls as possible,
knowing that once the door is closed it's over. God's Word says that
he isn't slack concerning this promise, lest those who have waited a
long time be discouraged, but that he is not willing that anyone
perish; he's holding the door open. But there is a day, an hour, when
that door will close (2nd Peter 3:9). And it will be all over. So we
plead, "get right with God."
"Now then, we are
ambassadors for Christ,
as though
God were pleading through us:
we
implore you on Christ’s behalf,
be
reconciled to God."

Corinthians 5:20
Some will heed, most will not. It comes down to the choice we make.
Now,
before the Rapture, Jesus said
society will be "as in the
days of Noah."
Luke 17:26-30
