"Then
one was brought to him
who was
demonized, blind and mute;
and he
healed him,
so that the blind and
mute man
both spoke and saw."

12:22
This is a good example of the contradiction of the
principles of the world versus the principles of the Kingdom of God.
Can you imagine the look on a doctor's face if you suggested that his
blind and mute patient needs a demon cast out rather than the
treatments the doctor can provide? A "demon???" Then he'd
be thinking about what kind of doctor YOU need. I wonder what the
reaction was in Jesus's day when he healed those the doctors couldn't
heal ....by casting out the demons.
They call us foolish. But
the truth is, they are the fools, the ignorant.
"But the
natural man
does not receive the
things of the Spirit of God,
for they
are FOOLISHNESS to him;
nor can he
know them,
because they are
spiritually discerned."

Corinthians 2:14
The Word of God will always oppose the ways
of the world, but he is a fool who chooses to ignore it. The wise man
builds his house on the Word of God, and that house will not fall.
