"May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble,
may
the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
May he send you help from
the sanctuary,
and strengthen you out of Zion;"
Psalm
20:1-2
Depending on whom you put your trust in, the kind of
"answers," "defense," and "help" that
you will receive will be different. If you've walked with the Lord
for awhile, you've noticed that the kinds of answers you've received
from him have been much different from the kind of answers you've
received from friends, family, counselors, or any kind of
experts.
It is such a delight when help comes in such a way
that it's obvious it was sent from a loving Father, from the God of
all creation.
vs 7-8:
"Some trust in chariots, and
some in horses,
but we will remember the name of the Lord our
God.
They have bowed down and fallen
but we have risen and
stand upright."
Don't put your trust in people who do not
have the perspective that only God has. People can be SO wrong even
when they sound so right. Man will fail, but God is full of wisdom
which will remain forever. He alone knows your story from start to
finish, and he alone knows your future.
Dare to trust him.
