"...as Sodom and Gomorrah,
and the cities
around them
in a similar manner to
these,
having given themselves

to sexual immorality

gone after strange flesh,

Sodom and Gomorrah are in the south of Israel,
south of the Dead Sea. I've been to the Dead Sea and can testify that
all the area south of it is devastation to this very day. It's just
salt projections for as far as you can see, on and on and on. The
Dead Sea was hit by Sodom's destruction and to this day it is
incapable of sustaining life. With the destruction of Sodom, the Dead
Sea was filled with salt minerals so dense that nothing can live in
it, not even bacteria.
God means what he says. The devastation
of Sodom and Gomorrah - still uninhabitable even now after thousands
of years -- are testimonies to the truth. As in the Scripture written
above, God has set this forth as a perpetual example of
the judgment on sexual perversion. To defy God is to invite
self-destruction.
If you are afflicted with this kind of
spirit, put down all pride and acknowledge the Word of God as truth.Turn from the "pride" of the world. The world has taken the
raindbow, the sign of God's covenant, and they've degraded it to be a
sign of their sin. What blasphemy! Turn from them; humble yourself
before the Lord. Ask for deliverance, and he will receive
you.
