"For the grace of God that brings
salvation
has appeared to all men,
teaching
us that, denying ungodliness
and
worldly lusts,
we should live
soberly, righteously,
and Godly in
the present age,
LOOKING FOR THE BLESSED HOPE
and glorious
appearing
of our great God and Savior
Jesus Christ..."
Titus
2:11-13
For some, the glorious appearing of Jesus
Christ is a greatly anticipated event. Many live daily with that
hope, waiting for him - and in the meantime, making every effort to
bring souls to Christ before the door closes.
For others, it
is the most dreaded event in all of history. It motivates the former
to live Godly lives and reach as many souls as possible. But for the
latter, the motto is "eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we
die." They insist "I'll do it my way," and they close
their ears to any mention of God.
It comes down to choices.
Now, before this event takes place, make your choice. Think deeply
and soberly about your eternity.
Yes, your eternity is at
stake. Jesus shed his blood, he bore the judgment on your sins. If
you will turn to him and receive him as the Lord of your life, your
sins will be forgiven and he will give you a brand new
life.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he
is a new creation;
old things have
passed away;
behold, all things have
become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Come
now while the door is still open. Soon ...it will close. Don't chance
it. When the Tribulation begins, all believers from then on will be martyred.
